How Can I Get Involved?
The Mobicon Foundation is a charitable organization setup to build a qualified vendor list for STEM learning programs, games, kits and tools and is actively working to build a fund that will be accessible to academic instructors and advisers to help subsidize the cost of these tools for their classrooms. The Mobicon Foundation believes heavily in the power of gaming as a learning tool to help build logical and problem solving skills in people of all ages. We also embrace Cosplay and Fandom as a venue to deliver positive messages to the youth and our community.
The proceed from the Mobicon event will be utilized by the Mobicon Foundation to continue to grow our presence in the community. It is very important to us to continue to grow this fundraiser and establish our primary fund to seed our cause. Are Sponsorships Available?
Mobicon Foundation is looking to expand Mobicon this year by getting more involved with the local area businesses and a broader spectrum of indie game designers. We are working ambitiously to move our event to new heights and grow into the Author R. Outlaw Convention Center for 2019. There are several ways to help with sponsorship of our event. Various rooms used at the convention are available for sponsorship and several event sponsorship opportunities are also available. There is also an opportunity to advertise in our Program Book. This book will be strategically placed sparsely in town at gaming stores, downtown at local businesses, and will be dispersed at our convention to our attendees and members. This is a great chance to get involved in our success in bringing positive change to the community.
Mobicon brings in over 1,000+ members in attendance and continues to grow each year. We have members from all over the Gulf Coast, from Texas to Florida to beyond! We have road warriors making their way to our convention all the way from Germany, Australia, and the Middle East! Not only will you be reaching out to new customers, but you will be helping local charities continue their good work.
What About Donations?
For the first time, Mobicon Foundation itself will be hosting this year’s charity auction and will be accepting charity donations of all kinds to the event. Books, games, toys, gift certificates and just about anything in good condition can be donated to the Charity Auction. Direct donations to the charity are also welcome. Each donation is considered a charitable donation which can be used for tax purposes. The Mobicon Foundation will provide proper documentation for any such donations for your tax records.
Since Mobicon is a not-for-profit organization we look to Sponsors for help minimizing some costs associated with presenting our annual convention.
